Canada completed a perfect 7-0 record Saturday, routing the Iroquois Nationals to win gold at the inaugural World Indoor Lacrosse Championship. The Maple Leafs led 10-0 at one point, strolling leisurely to a 21-4 win over the Nats. John Grant, who had never before won a major title, led Canada with seven goals and three assists and was named as his team's player of the game. In other action on Championship Day, the United States avenged a round-robin loss, defeating Scotland, 15-9, for the bronze medal. On Thursday, Australia concluded its participation in the tournament by winning the fifth-place game, 21-10 over the Czech Republic.
