Thursday, 10:30 PM - Rose Garden
Inside: Game Stats | Discuss the Game

Brian Langtry scored nine goals but the Mammoth still lost to the LumberJax, 16-15.

Langtry scored to put Colorado (6-4) on the board first, then netted another late in the period for a 3-1 lead. Derek Malawsky, though, cut the LumberJax' deficit to one with 21 seconds left in the quarter.

After Langtry and Jason Wulder scored early in the second quarter, extending the Mammoth's lead to 5-3, Portland (4-7) rattled off four straight goals to end the half with a 6-5 lead. Peter Morgan scored twice in the run, followed by singles from Cory Conway and Dan Dawson.

Colorado dominated the first seven minutes of the second half, outscoring the 'Jax, 4-1. Portland scored five the rest of the period, two by Dawson, and took a 12-10 lead to the fourth quarter.

After a Jordan Cornfield goal early in the fourth, Langtry accounted for all of Colorado's offense (four goals). Two goals by "Tree" late in regulation tied the game at 15-15, but young Pete Jacobs netted a goal with 1:06 to play, giving the 'Jax the victory.

Beyond Langtry's thirteen points (9 goals, 4 assists), Colorado got six-spots from Gavin Prout (2 goals, 4 assists), Cornfield (2 goals, 4 assists) and Dan Carey (1 goal, 5 assists). Malawsky led the LumberJax with nine points, on 2 goals and 7 assists.

Edmonton Rush at Toronto Rock
Friday, 7:30 PM - Air Canada Centre
Inside: Game Stats | Discuss the Game

Aaron Wilson scored four goals, leading the Rock to a 14-9 win over the Rush.

After playing to a 2-2 tie after one quarter, Toronto (6-4) dominated the second quarter, outscoring the Rush 7-1 for a 9-3 halftime lead. Wilson scored twice in the run, with Blaine Manning and Matt Taylor (among others) adding singles.

Wilson scored again early the third quarter, closing out what had become a 9-1 run spanning 22 minutes. Edmonton (2-7) got a couple goals shortly after that (Steve Hutchins and Mike Accursi), but Toronto then matched the Rush goal for goal, leading 13-7 after three quarters.

Edmonton got a couple goals in the fourth quarter, from Chris Gill and Mike Grimes, but never made much of a run at the Rock.

Wilson led all scorers with five points, on four goals and an assist. Accursi paced the Rush, tallying one goal and three assists.

Calgary Roughnecks at San Jose Stealth
Saturday, 3:00 PM - HP Pavilion
Inside: Game Stats | Discuss the Game

Colin Doyle scored his fourth goal with five seconds remaining, lifting the Stealth to a 15-14 victory over the Roughnecks.

San Jose (6-4) dominated the first quarter offensively, as Doyle, Luke Wiles, Jeff Zywicki and Frank Resetarits combined for a 4-0 lead. Only a Lewis Ratcliff goal with 19 seconds left prevented the Riggers from being shut out for the quarter.

Sean Morris and Zywicki extended San Jose lead to 6-1 early in the second quarter, then Calgary (4-8) rattled off four straight to draw within 6-5. Doyle stretched the Stealth's lead to two with a goal 22 seconds before intermission.

Calgary jumped in front, 8-7, in the opening minutes of the third quarter and was ahead 10-8 by midquarter. A Zywicki goal with four minutes left in the quarter narrowed the gap to 10-9.

Goals by Scott Ranger and Shawn Cable gave Calgary a solid three-goal cushion midway through the fourth quarter, but the Stealth erased it within three minutes (Cam Sedgwick, Doyle and Wiles).

After four and a half minutes deadlocked at 12-12, Wiles found Doyle for the game-winning goal, a power-play marker with five seconds left.

Doyle finished as the game's top scorer, tallying nine points (4 goals, 5 assists). Ratcliff led the Roughnecks, scoring three goals and dishing out three assists.

Toronto Rock at Buffalo Bandits
Saturday, 7:30 PM - HSBC Arena
Inside: Game Stats | Discuss the Game

Aaron Wilson and Josh Sanderson scored four goals each, leading the Rock to a 13-9 victory over the Bandits.

Buffalo (7-5) took a lightning-quick 2-0 lead, with Brett Bucktooth and Cory Bomberry scoring before the game was 40 seconds old. However, the Rock battled back to tie the game at 3-3 by the end of the period.

Toronto (7-4) moved out in front early in the second quarter on a goal by Wilson, but soon was trailing again, thanks to John Tavares and Delby Powless. A Sanderson goal with 46 seconds left tied the score at 5-5 headed to intermission.

The Rock won the game on the strength of its third period, outscoring the Bandits, 4-1. Sanderson and Cam Woods scored early, then Ryan Benesch followed a Buffalo goal with two of his own, for a 9-6 Toronto lead.

Two more goals by Wilson, along with another from Sanderson, had Toronto in front 12-7 with under nine minutes to play, and the Rock just coasted to victory.

Wilson led all scorers with seven points (4 goals, 3 assists). Bomberry (2 goals, 2 assists) and Tavares (1 goal, 3 assists) tallied four points each for Buffalo.

Philadelphia Wings at New York Titans
Saturday, 7:30 PM - Sovereign Bank Arena
Inside: Game Stats | Discuss the Game

Ryan Boyle and Casey Powell scored four goals each in the Titans' 20-13 rout over the league-leading Wings at Trenton, N.J.

Boyle opened the scoring for New York (6-5) a minute and a half in, and the score stayed there for another eight minutes, until Merrick Thomson struck for the Wings. An exchange between ex-Wing Jeff Ratcliffe and Jake Bergey closed the period at 2-2.

Athan Iannucci gave Philadelphia (7-2) a 3-2 lead moments into the second quarter, a lead which proved to be short-lived as the Titans ripped off six of the next seven goals. That put the Wings down 8-4, a gap they could narrow only to 9-6 by intermission.

The third quarter was no kinder to Philadelphia, with a big portion of the blame assigned to Geoff Snider. Just after the Wings had pulled to within 11-9, Snider took a five-minute major for boarding and the Titans capitalized for five goals during Snider's absence.

Philadelphia couldn't put together a good run at New York in the fourth quarter, as the Titans had a quick reply to every Wings goal.

Powell finished with a game-high eleven points, on four goals and seven assists. Snider led the Wings with six points (1 goal, 5 assists), while Iannucci (4 goals, 1 assist) improved his league-leading goal total to 43.

Chicago Shamrox at Rochester Knighthawks
Saturday, 7:35 PM - Blue Cross Arena
Inside: Game Stats | Discuss the Game

Jonas Derks' goal with one minute remaining gave the Shamrox a 12-11 win over the Knighthawks.

After playing to a 2-2 tie after one quarter and a 4-4 tie late in the second, Rochester (4-6) opened up some breathing room with goals by Shawn Williams and Mat McLeod just before halftime.

The Knighthawks continued building their lead early in the third quarter, improving to an 8-4 advantage courtesy of Williams and John Grant. Derks scored late in the third to cut the lead to three.

The upset didn't come easy at first. Derks scored again early in the fourth, but Shawn Evans soon countered. Cody Jacobs potted a goal at the two-minute mark, and Grant replied moments later, and the Knighthawks still led by three, 10-7.

Finally, Chicago (2-7) went on a tear, Jacobs scoring twice and Kevin Ross once, tying the score at 10-10 with six minutes left.

Steve Toll netted a goal for Rochester a minute later, but back came the Shamrox, Josh Wasson tying the game with 3:16 to play and Derks scoring the game-winner with exactly 60 seconds left.

Grant finished the game-high in points, seven (4 goals, 3 assists). Jason Clark paced Chicago offensively, dishing out six assists.
