The 2000 NLL Amateur Draft has been scheduled for Thursday, 21 September and will be held at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, the Outsider's Guide has learned.

A time has not been established, nor is it known whether the public will be invited to watch. The past two seasons, NLL has taken the amateur draft on the road -- Rochester in 1998 and Buffalo last year -- and offered free admission.

The addition of Columbus for the 2001 season will force an expansion draft, but it is not known when that draft will take place. Although Albany's expansion draft last summer was weeks before the amateur draft, Syracuse's and Ontario's two years prior was on the same day as the "main event."
