The National Lacrosse League last week named Sportexe as the exclusive supplier of playing surfaces for league games. Sportexe, based in Fonthill, Ontario, will make the carpets from "Dieter Turf," claimed in an NLL press release to be "the wave of the future within the sports surface industry."

Sportexe, whose product was selected due to its combination of durability, playability and safety, has also been signed to a multi-year sponsorship deal with the league.

"Sportexe is proud to provide the NLL with a surface that will enhance the great game of box lacrosse," said Mark Nicholls, president of Sportexe. "Dieter Turf is proud to be selected as the exclusive arena surface for the National Lacrosse League."

"Sportexe will put a high quality surface under the feet of our fast moving game," NLL commissioner Jim Jennings added. "The Dieter Turf surface is a proven winner in professional sports, and we’re glad to have Sportexe provide us with such an important part of our product."
