When the World Trade Center was attacked Tuesday morning, Montreal Express representatives were already en route to Montreal.

Although league executives never got out of the country, let alone reached Quebec -- it's unclear who among them was planning to attend -- team president Brad Watters, vice presidents Bryan Black and Bruce Todman, players Tracey Kelusky and Brad MacArthur, and others did reach Montreal and went ahead with the scheduled press conference.

The media presence for the Express was quite large, including several newspapers, around five radio stations and two television stations (RDS, Quebec's primary sports channel, and Global), and they were treated to the formal release of the team logo.

There was one difference between the logo Watters and associates displayed and the one leaked on Monday -- the bright blue of the unofficial logo has been replaced by a dark, duller purple. Otherwise, the logos are identical.

The Express also announced the creation of a team web site, at http://www.expressdemontreal.com/. The Express' updated logo can be viewed there.
