The Toronto Rock today traded forward Kaleb Toth to the Calgary Roughnecks for forward Blaine Manning and the Roughnecks' first-round pick in next year's entry draft.

The trade comes as no surprise. The Roughnecks have coveted Toth since the franchise was created this spring, trade rumors involving the Calgary native have been swirling, reports of a finalized deal have be coming for almost two weeks, and the two teams all but announced the trade late last week.

In just two season, the 23-year-old Toth has become an offensive force, recording 23 goals and 22 assists in fourteen games for the Rock this past season. He was the player behind perhaps the Rock's most famous goal, scoring with one second remaining in the 2000 NLL Championship Game to give the Rock a 14-13 victory over Rochester.

Manning was the Roughnecks' first-ever entry draft selection, taken second overall this past August. He followed a stellar collegiate career at Radford University with a standout summer with the WLA's Victoria Shamrocks, scoring 26 goals and assisting on 24 others in the Shamrocks' 19-0-1 regular-season campaign.
