The Vancouver Ravens today unveiled the jerseys they will wear for their upcoming inaugural season.

The jerseys come, to no surprise, in the team's "Bionda Gold, Spirit Red and Raven Black" colors. What was unexpected was the introduction of special jerseys for the goaltenders.

The regular sweaters feature the official Vancouver Ravens primary logo on a large "Vancouver V" backdrop on the front, two "HeadFirst" secondary marks on the shoulders and a large Ravens "Wingspan" on the back. The home version has a red top and black torso, while the away version has a completely white base.

The goaltenders jersey will feature a large "Van Raven" graphic and a special black-and-gold Ravens collar. The home edition has a solid red background, while the background of the road version is white.

"We’re proud to present jerseys designed by and for some of the best lacrosse players in British Columbia," said director of lacrosse operations and head coach Paul Dal Monte. "I know our players will be proud to represent Vancouver and British Columbia wearing the logo, the [colors] and the jerseys that will become synonymous with our organization in the National Lacrosse League."

"We asked for input and suggestions on our [colors], the design and the overall look of the jerseys from many of the players during the signing period in July and I think it’s paid off in one of the most dynamic jerseys in the National Lacrosse League."

The jerseys will be produced and distributed by ProJoy, which has an exclusive licensing agreement with the NLL. The outfits will debut in an exhibition match against the Calgary Roughnecks tomorrow night in Prince George, BC.
