Toronto Rock forward Jim Veltman has been named the National Lacrosse League's Overall Player of the Week for Week Fourteen, the games of 26-28 March.

Rock teammate Colin Doyle and the Philadelphia Wings' Dallas Eliuk and Ryan Ward were also honored.

Veltman, earning the Overall award for the second time in three weeks, led the Rock to a pair of Eastern Division-clinching victories over the Buffalo Bandits. Friday night in Toronto, Veltman scored a goal, dished out four assists, and recovered twelve loose balls as the Rock won, 14-11.

One night later in Buffalo, Veltman served up seven assists and chipped in nine scoops, for a 15-9 Toronto victory.

Doyle, the Offensive Player of the Week, was also a force to be reckoned with in those games. He recorded two goals and two assists in Friday's game, then added four goals and six assists on Saturday.

Eliuk, the Defensive Player of the Week, allowed just eight goals on 51 shots in Philadelphia's 12-8 victory over the Rochester Knighthawks on Saturday, keeping the Wings' playoff hopes alive.

Ward, the Rookie of the Week, scored two goals and dished out two assists for the Wings in that game. One of his goals was the game-winner.

This is Veltman's fifth trip to the Top Players list, and second this season. Doyle appears for the fourth time, Eliuk the ninth time, and Ward the second time.
