Rochester Knighthawks forward Shawn Williams was named yesterday as the National Lacrosse League's Overall Player of the Week for Week Fifteen, the games of 2-4 April.

Knighthawks teammate Pat O'Toole and Colorado Mammoth forward Curtis Smith were also honored.

Williams, also the Offensive Player of the Week, scored six goals in the Knighthawks' 13-8 do-or-die victory Saturday night against the Philadelphia Wings.

O'Toole secured Defensive Player of the Week honors for allowing only eight Wings goals in that game, on 42 shots faced.

Smith, the Rookie of the Week, scored three goals and dished out an assist in the Mammoth's 17-10 victory over the Anaheim Storm.

Williams is certainly no stranger to the Top Players list, now having two Overall awards (also Week 13) and four Offensive awards (Weeks 6, 10, and 13) to his credit this season alone. It's the seventh time in his career that he's been so honored. O'Toole is making his eighth appearance, Smith his first.
