"We are excited to be holding our entry draft in Denver and in front of the great fans of the Colorado Mammoth," NLL commissioner Jim Jennings said. "The Mammoth and Pepsi Center have hosted the NLL All-Star Game in 2004 and opening night of the regular season on three occasions. The draft, beginning at 10:00 AM Mountain (noon Eastern) will kick off a big day for the NLL in Colorado, with the NLL Outdoor Showcase to follow that evening in nearby Commerce City. NLL's first foray into field lacrosse, the Outdoor Showcase is the first step to the eventual launch of a fall field lacrosse circuit. One day before the draft, the NLL will hold a scouting combine at Pepsi Center for players graduating from American colleges. The combine will be closed to the public.
