The National Lacrosse League announced yesterday that it will hold an expansion draft to stock the still-unnamed Boston expansion franchise on Tuesday, 31 July.

The draft will begin at 2:00 PM Eastern, with results posted live on the league's official web site, NLL.com.

Boston will be able to select one player from each of the thirteen existing franchises, although each club may protect its choice of (a) one goaltender and thirteen runners or (b) two goaltenders and ten runners.

Several teams have already announced their protected lists, with the rest to follow in the coming days.
