San Jose's Jeff Zywicki was named both the National Lacrosse League's Overall Player and Offensive Player of the Week for his performance in the Stealth's overtime road win over Calgary on Saturday.

Zywicki netted five goals, adding four assists and a game-high 14 loose balls as the Stealth defeated the Roughnecks, 13-12, at the Saddledome.

Minnesota's Nick Patterson was named Defensive Player of the Week. The 25-year-old goaltender, in his first season as the Swarm's full-time starter, played two full games and was credited with both wins. Patterson recorded a combined 81 saves, while maintaining a goals against average of under 10 as he led the Swarm to a 2-0 start. Patterson and the Swarm defense held the Rock to a league season-low four goals on Saturday at Xcel Energy Center.

Minnesota's Craig Point was named Rookie of the Week. The 21-year-old forward scored a combined three goals and seven assists in the Swarm's sweep over Toronto. Point also scooped 10 loose balls, and went 5-for-10 in emergency faceoff relief.

Philadelphia's Jon Christmas was named Transition Player of the Week. The 25-year-old University of Virginia grad recorded five assists and scooped nine loose balls on Saturday as the Wings defeated Chicago at Wachovia Center.
