The National Lacrosse League today announced that the 2009 NLL All Star Game will be played at Pepsi Center, the second time in five years that the Denver arena has been so selected.

The annual exhibition will be held on Saturday, 7 March, hosted by the Colorado Mammoth.

"We're very pleased to bring the All Star Game back to Colorado," Colorado general manager Steve Govett said. "The players always put on a great show and we plan to make the entire weekend an unforgettable experience for the fans."

Pepsi Center previously hosted the 2004 NLL All Star Game, when the Eastern Division All Stars topped their Western Division counterparts, 19-15, in front of a crowd of 16,742.

Details about the All Star Game, including game time and a schedule of associated events, will be announced soon.
