The National Lacrosse League has informed the Outsider's Guide that the 1998 amatuer draft will be held on Friday, 14 August 1998 at 10:00 a.m. Eastern time.

This date reflects a one-day delay from the previously announced date of 13 August.

The league plans to cover the draft on its web site in a post-draft package only. Don't expect to see it right away, though. "[It] may take a little while to get on the site as we plan to make it as detailed as possible," the league says via electronic mail. The details referred to will include statistics on all draftees.
