The National Lacrosse League has postponed the 1998 Amateur Draft until mid-September.

Citing "continuing developments with expansion (for the '99 season)," the league informed the Outsider's Guide today that it has rescheduled the draft for 14 September.

The new date is exactly one month to the day after the previously scheduled date for the draft, 14 August.
