Due to several scheduling concerns, including one arena reclaiming a date which was intended for an NLL game, five games on the 1999 regular-season calendar have changed dates.

Prompted by the Nassau Coliseum's desire to rent its facility to a major concert on 6 February, the New York Saints were forced to shift a showdown with the Buffalo Bandits forward one week, to 30 January. Because New York would have been forced to play on consectuive nights, following a game in Toronto, that game was rescheduled for late February.

Toronto then rescheduled several of its home games. In addition to the game against New York, the Rock changed appointments with Rochester and Philadelphia. The move of the Knighthawks game, to 29 January, is apparently in order to maintain that date as one of its six home games. Meanwhile, it is believed that the Philadelphia-Toronto game, now delayed one week, was rescheduled in order to avoid conflicting with the final home weekend at historic Maple Leaf Gardens for the Toronto hockey club of that name before it moves into a brand-new facility.

It was also announced with the updated schedule that the schedule will feature an all-star game for the first time since the early 1990s. The game will be held on 20 February, at the Blue Cross Arena in Rochester. The arrangement of teams (by nationality, team location, etc.) is still unclear.
