League unveils new-look web siteIt's a belated Christmas gift, but National Lacrosse League fans will take it anyway. The league unveiled today its revamped web site, now designed by EdgeNet. The site is now graphics-intensive and clearly better-produced than before. The site offers a new bulletin board, which combines aesthetics and ease of usage, and whose features resemble those of the MILL Talk bulletin board that was used on the Major Indoor Lacrosse League web site during the 1997 season. But that's not all. The site offers news updated with time kept in mind. Whereas the former NLL site had not yet posted a summary of last Saturday's New York-Rochester game, the new site has the summary, as well as a preview of the upcoming Rochester-Baltimore game. Some visitors to the NLL web site, the Outsider's Guide included, could not view the new material. As an alternative, click here. During the 1998 season, the NLL web site was maintained by Web Technologies. -30- |
