Bandits deal Neil Doddridge to Pittsburgh

Buffalo receives draft pick from CrosseFire

NLL Press Release

The Buffalo Bandits today traded forward Neil Doddridge to the Pittsburgh CrosseFire for a second round pick in the September 2000 National Lacrosse League Draft.

Doddridge, 30, goes to his fifth different team after two stints with the Bandits (1996-1997 and 1999) and a combined five years with the Detroit Turbos, Boston Blazers, and Syracuse Smash. The 6'0", 195-pounder won World Championships in 1991 (Detroit) and 1996 (Buffalo). He earned his seventh Mann Cup title this summer with the Victoria Shamrocks of the British Columbia Lacrosse Association.

Doddridge was third on the Bandits in 1999 in loose balls with 73 in eleven games. He has played in 66 career regular season games, totaling 98 points on 52 goals and 46 assists. In seven career postseason games, Doddridge has scored two goals, assisted on nine others, and accumulated eight penalty minutes. His 188 career regular season penalty minutes rank second all-time, behind only former teammate Darris Kilgour.
