Buffalo continues to lead Experts PollSweep, combined by Mammoth and Rock losses, advances Bandits to topR.A. Philly Outsider's Guide Editor in Chief Without even playing, the Buffalo Bandits sharply increased their lead this week in the Lacrosse-Network.com Experts Poll. Buffalo, which earned 86 points and seven first-place votes, led second-place Colorado by just five points a week ago. Now, it's twelve, with the Mammoth (an 18-16 loser at Calgary) drawing 74 points and one first-place vote. Colorado's slip comes at the same time that Toronto and Calgary are on the rise, with the Rock up to 73 points (one first-place vote) and the Roughnecks at 71. Rochester narrowly edged San Jose to regain fifth place, 48 to 47, after the Stealth's upset loss at Philadelphia on Saturday. Arizona remains in seventh place with 39 points, comfortably ahead of Philadelphia (28 points). Anaheim fell a spot to ninth (17 points) after suffering a 17-10 blowout loss at Arizona, while Minnesota idled in last place, totalling just twelve points. Our panel of nine experts includes a wide range of top lacrosse minds, including Outsider's Guide writers, players, and coaches. Scoring is on a 10-9-8-etc. basis, so that the maximum score a team can earn is 90 points and the minimum is nine points.
