Bandits near perfection in Experts Poll

Buffalo up to 88 points, eight first-place votes

The Buffalo Bandits continue to ride high atop the Lacrosse-Network.com Experts Poll.

Buffalo, which crushed Anaheim 20-9 this past weekend, increased its point total to 88 and now has eight first-place votes.

Toronto, six points back at 82, continues to hold the other first-place vote after winning twice over the weekend, 15-9 at Buffalo and 16-10 back home at Air Canada Centre against Calgary.

Colorado, which barely got by Arizona in overtime, fell to third place, with 71 points, still safely ahead of fourth-place Calgary (61 points).

San Jose (53 points) and Rochester (46 points) flipped spots in the middle of the rankings, with the Knighthawks dropping one position after a lackluster 16-15 victory over Philadelphia very easily could have been a loss. The Stealth was idle.

The rest of the league was unchanged in the this week's rankings, with Arizona continuing to hold off Philadelphia for seventh place. The Sting's lead, eleven points last week, is now just nine (38-29).

Anaheim (16 points) and Minnesota (11 points) continue to round out the rankings.

Our panel of nine experts includes a wide range of top lacrosse minds, including Outsider's Guide writers, players, and coaches. Scoring is on a 10-9-8-etc. basis, so that the maximum score a team can earn is 90 points and the minimum is nine points.

The complete rankings from this week's Experts Poll, with comments (win-loss record through Sunday is in parentheses):
