For the second time in three weeks, the Colorado Mammoth finished one vote short of a unanimous first-place selection in this week's Lacrosse-Network.com Experts Poll.

Colorado improved to 5-1 on the young season after defeating Portland, 15-11, on Thursday, and gained two points in the rankings, up to 103 on seven first-place votes and one second-place selection.

Buffalo, idle over the weekend, remained in second place, drawing 96 points (including one first-place vote). Giving some indication of the unanimity of the rankings this week, Rochester sits in third, exactly eight points behind Buffalo, and Arizona is fourth, eight back of the Knighthawks.

Arizona and Calgary (67 points) both moved up a spot this week at Portland's expense. The LumberJax (65 points) were in second just two weeks ago, but three consecutive losses have dropped Portland to sixth.
