Two wins trump Colorado's one, so 6-0 Swarm moves up

Fresh off two victories last weekend, the Minnesota Swarm has overtaken the Colorado Mammoth for first place in this week's Lacrosse-Network.com Experts Poll.

Minnesota, which crushed New York on Friday and narrowly escaped losing to Portland on Sunday, earned 93 points, including five first-place votes -- a net gain from last week of three Experts.

Colorado, also unbeaten so far this season, took out Portland in a Thursday night game, but lost three points, falling to 90 this week. The Mammoth did hold on to three first-place votes.

Philadelphia (81 points) and Buffalo (66 points) continue to hold down third- and fourth-place, respectively, although the Bandits leads hard-charging San Jose (up from seventh last week) by a single point.

Calgary, meanwhile, is headed in the other direction, having just suffered a disastrous 17-9 home loss to Buffalo. The Roughnecks, fifth last week, are now in seventh place, with 51 points.

Every other team maintained the same position as last week.

Our panel of eight experts includes a wide range of top lacrosse minds, including Outsider's Guide writers, players, and coaches. Scoring is on an 12-11-10-etc. basis, so that the maximum score a team can earn is 96 points and the minimum is eight points.

The complete rankings from this week's Experts Poll, with comments (win-loss record through Sunday is in parentheses):
