Philly Outsider's Guide Editor in Chief For the fourth straight week, the Calgary Roughnecks have pulled down the top spot in this week's Lacrosse-Network.com Experts Poll. In an identical finish to last week, Calgary outpolled second-place Buffalo, 82-79, earning five first-place votes to Buffalo's two. The two clubs continue to lead their respective divisions, and each can clinch first place this weekend. Boston and New York continue to hold down the next two spots, with the Blazers earning five points more than the Titans, 68-63. Portland rounds out the top five, at 53 points. The biggest loser of the week was Colorado (36 points), falling two spots to eighth after dropping games last weekend against Rochester and Portland. The Knighthawks, in fact, are one of the teams that moved ahead of the Mammoth, tying Philadelphia for sixth place at 43 points. Our panel of seven experts includes a wide range of top lacrosse minds, including Outsider's Guide writers, players, and coaches. Scoring is on an 12-11-10-etc. basis, so that the maximum score a team can earn is 84 points and the minimum is seven points.
